Foxy Brown Speaks On Lil Kim & Nicki Minaj Beef

Check out what Foxy Brown had to say about the on-going feud between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim.

What she thinks about the feud between Kim and Nicki:

Had she [Kim] let the people say, "Oh [Nicki], you're trying to be Kim, you're a fake Kim," then it doesn't come directly from her. But when you're using that as a platform to bring your new album out, that's like, "Oh my God, wait a minute." I don't condone it at all; I don't think it's cute.

Nicki clearly drew from both Kim and me. And she hasn't been disrespectful to me in any way -- I haven't heard her be disrespectful toward anybody else but Kim. And at some point, it's like, O.K., Kim, you've had a problem with Foxy, you've had a problem with Nicki, you've had a problem with Faith [Evans], with Charli [Baltimore], with everybody. It's like, enough already. I choose to stay out of it. Put out great music, and that's that.

How she feels about Nicki:

Nicki has always been cool with me. She and I have something online I did for her -- it was a video shoot with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, [when] she wasn't signed yet. And she was like, "Foxy is the first female artist who ever embraced me." She was classy; she was articulate. I'm so proud of her.

Of course, people everywhere clearly are saying, "She wants to be Foxy, she wants to be Kim." Everybody's going to say that. But do I think she's doing an incredible job at branding herself? Yes, I do. When you're an icon in the music business…like Mary J. Blige. Keyshia Cole came out after her, [but] you didn't hear Mary J. Blige starting a beef with her just because they compared [Keyshia to] her. Mary J. Blige stayed clean. She does what she does, and I do what I do.

Oh and Foxy mentioned that the recent reports of her being thrown out of a fashion show are not true!! Foxy stated "I don't know how any rumors got started. Indashio is a personal friend of mine -- I'm his biggest supporter, he's my biggest supporter...It was all about me coming to support one of my closest friends in fashion. And when I got there, he dragged me in, and we were falling all over, happy. Happy, not intoxicated, at all. I'm not even a drinker. And we never locked ourselves in the bathroom; people were coming in and out."


I really think Kim should just back off of Nicki.. She's only making herself look like a sour apple bitter b***h.  Anywho, check here for the full interview with Foxy.

Nicki Minaj In Black Book

Nicki Minaj took some hot photos for Black Book, check em out.

When Black Book asked Nicki about how her life has changed since she became such a huge star, she answered:

I’ve always wanted fame..but when I achieved fame, I started realizing that it wasn’t as important as being great at what you do, or being critically acclaimed. Still, I never wish I wasn’t famous.

“I’ve lost my peace of mind. I no longer know who’s my friend or my enemy. I don’t know if they’re calling me because they like me or because they want a photo op, and that’s not a good feeling. I’m always second-guessing everyone, trying to figure out, Who is this person, and what do they want from me? Most people don’t treat me like a human being. I’ve become an image, a persona, a robot: ‘Stand there, take a picture, and smile.’”

That's a pretty messed up way to have to live but it's necessary, especially in her position.

New Music Video: Lil Kim "Black Friday"

Kim has finally released the video for her "Nicki Minaj Diss" called Black Friday. Kim released her mixtape titled after the first release on Monday, February 14th. The very next day she claimed that she sold 113,000 copies in 28 hours. Saying that it made her the #1 seller on PayPal EVER. Kim, you're not fooling anybody. That clearly DID NOT HAPPEN, SMH. Anywho, check out the video for Black Friday.

Awwww Kimmie, I was so hoping it would be better than this. Granted, NOTHING she did could touch Nicki, but I was hoping that she came better than this.  While I'm not a fan of the video, I have to admit she looks better here than she has in a while.  I still got a few laughs from the few good lines she got in.

Oh, how about word is that Nicki got a grand ole laugh when she got news of Kim's claims.. Nicki tweeted “Bwaahhhhahhahahahahahahahahhahahhhaaahhhhhaaahahahahahahahhhaha!!!!!!!!!! *lifeless* *leaves on stretcher* *cant go on*,”

Hilarious!! Nicki ain't thinking about Kim's azz and I wish Kim would realize that and move on.  I like me some Kim, but not in 2011.  I'm not even sure if she's the real Lil Kim, she could be an imposter ROFL.

In Case You Missed It.....Nicki Minaj Visits 106

If you haven't coped Nicki's debut CD "Pink Friday" you are playing wit yaself.  I was at Target at 8:07 a.m. to get my copy yesterday morning.  They were SO WTS cuz they didn't have any of the deluxe copies out front.  Me being me, I politely knocked on those swinging doors that read "Employees Only" and asked someone to bring me a deluxe copy cuz I knew they had one.  Of course, they then brought me "the last one."  Yea right, they thought they were slick and were gonna keep em for themselves, SMH.  Anywho, the album is AMAZING!! Nicki brought it for her fans and most definitely for her haters!! She stopped through 106 & Park to drop some words from the "Nick-tionary" and perform for the livest audience.  Check it out.

She looked really shocked and appreciative to her fans when she came out, awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

The album drops on December 21st, the same day as Keri Hilson's. I'm already sold on Keri's album but Keyshia is gonna have to bring it on the next single cuz this one wasn't all that.  I like Keyshia so I'm rooting for her come back!!!

On her fears of putting out her first album
"I was so afraid to put out an album for fear of failure,” she later admits, stretched across a dressing room couch in a yellow Harajuku Lovers tee and flowing sweatpants. “I wanted to put my album out on Valentine’s Day of 2011. And my label was like, are you fucking crazy?”

On her different identities
"I’m going to talk about my family and a little bit of dysfunction – or I should say, lots of dysfunction. And I’m just going to talk about me and self-searching and why I made the choices [I did],” she says, differentiating between her aliases and Onika Tonya Maraj – her birth name. “Onika is not Nicki is not Roman. People will never be able to figure me out. I can tell you my whole life story from beginning to end, and then tomorrow, I’ll be just a different person.”

On Pink Friday

“I know that Pink Friday is a classic album. I have never been this proud of anything in my life,” she says. “I just think that it’s such a dynamic body of work. I’m no longer afraid to drop it. Now, I know it’s time.”
